Inside the Veejo office

One network. A chronology.

Veejo connects verified pilots with the flight schools and airlines that recruit, train and crew them. This is how it came to exist.

2,000+ verified pilots and instructors · a worldwide network · founded in 2024

Aviation runs on relationships. Nothing connected them.

Pilots could not find each other, schools could not find pilots, and operators paid agencies five-figure retainers to forward a CV. The data existed in many places, with licences held by regulators, hours in logbooks and ratings in HR systems, but nothing connected it.

Veejo verifies licences, medicals, hours and ratings against ICAO standards, then routes that data to the people who need it: pilots managing their careers, schools training their cadets, airlines hiring their next captain.

From an empty repo. To a worldwide network.

3 milestones
  1. Summer · the idea

An idea born in a cockpit.

Flying with a future aircraft owner who cannot find pilots, Maxime sees the gap first-hand: the information exists (licences, hours, ratings), but nothing connects it. Aviation still runs on spreadsheets and five-figure retainers.

  2. September · founded

    Veejo is founded.

A team of pilots, engineers and aviation auditors sets out to build the network the industry was missing. The verification standard is drafted: ICAO-aligned, audited end-to-end. No profile goes live on the strength of a CV alone.

  3. September · first placement

    First placement, at Cap Aero.

The same month, Veejo places its first pilot: Cap Aero recruits through the network.

1 milestone
  1. The network ships

    First verified pilots, first operators.

The verification process clears its first hundreds of pilots. Network-based recruitment scales: operators brief Veejo for free, the network returns a pre-vetted shortlist, and fees are due only when a pilot signs.

2026
4 milestones
  1. January · 1,000 pilots

    1,000 verified pilots.

The network passes 1,000 verified pilots, and counts 2,000+ today. Every profile is checked against ICAO standards before it goes live: licences, medicals, hours and ratings.

  2. February · first stand

    Veejo exhibits at the SFMA.

First trade-show stand at the Salon des Formations et Métiers de l’Aéronautique. Cadets, schools and operators meet the network in person.

  3. June · students

    ATPL tutoring goes live.

Verified pilots open their schedules to ATPL candidates, and Morris, the AI co-pilot, joins to fill the gaps between tutoring sessions. The network now serves cadets, line pilots, instructors, schools and operators on one record.

  4. September · two years

    Two years, 2,000 pilots.

Veejo celebrates its second anniversary and its 2,000th verified pilot with members, partners and clients, at the Breitling boutique in Paris.

The next entry on this chronology is being written now. Most of it depends on what the network needs next.
